Kiln formed cast glass, copper tube, copper & steel wire
Waterlog occupies 2.5 meters in length, individual glass panels presented as an archive, documenting changes in water quality. The title of this work is borrowed from Waterlog: A Swimmers Journey Through Britain, by the late Roger Deakin.
'So swimming is a rite of passage, a crossing of boundaries: the line of the shore, the bank of the river, the edge of the pool, the surface itself. When you enter the water, something like metamorphosis happens.'
Deakin, Roger
